Valley Elite F.C. is thrilled to have Angie Fett return for another season. Angie coached the u14 girls team last spring season with players ranging in age from 10 to 14, which presents its own unique challenges. Many of their games were against older teams (u15, u16) which meant that the athletes had a lot of opportunity to grow their skills, especially during the MYSA State Cup in Great Falls, MT where our u14 girls won the State Championship in the u15 Girls Division!
Angie has coached the Hamilton High School Lady Broncs soccer team for two years along with coaching in the local recreational leagues since high school. This will be Angie's second season with Valley Elite F.C. and her eyes are set on another State Championship!
Angie attended Butte High School, where she was known as "Spitfire" by her high school soccer team and coach. She was a great soccer player in high school, which earned her offers to play in college, but Angie decided to pursue a teaching degree. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelors of Science in English Secondary Language and then went on to earn a Masters in Elementary Education from Montana State University - Billings. She has been teaching in the Bitterroot Valley for many years and earned a position at the Hamilton Middle School teaching language arts, which is something she is very passionate about. In her spare time she loves to read, run, and fly fish with her family. She has a husband, Birch who teaches at Hamilton High School and 3 adorable daughters; Taylor, Lakyn, and Cora.
Angie’s goal for her team this year is to help every player reach their own goals by providing opportunities to improve skills and by positively reinforcing their growth and development throughout the season. Her girls are hoping the blaring music returns this season, which made practices and warm-ups so much fun last year! Valley Elite F.C. is proud to have Angie and her family part of our organization and can’t wait to see what her team will do this year!
GET TO KNOW YOUR COACH - ANGIE FETT
"My coaching philosophy is to promote a love of the sport, to foster a positive environment where players respect each other, other teams, coaches, and referees, and to develop players’ technical skills."
Did you play soccer yourself? Where and how long?
"I started playing soccer when I was four years old. The first team I ever played for was the Tootsie Pops.
I continued playing through high school, and I still love to play as an adult!"
What made you want to coach for Valley Elite?
"Soccer isn’t offered as a school sport in middle school, so we tend to lose players to other sports. I wanted to coach for Valley Elite so that I could encourage our youth to continue playing in their prime developmental years!"
What do you do when you are not coaching?
"I have three daughters that I love spending time with when I’m not coaching. I also love to fly fish with my daughters and my husband, and I enjoy running and being outdoors."
What are you passionate about?
"I am passionate about education, soccer, and my family!"
Who is your favorite pro player? Why?

What is your favorite hobby outside of soccer?
What are the top 5 things I should/could do to improve my game?
"1) Get touches
2) Play whenever you get the chance
