2020/2021 Micro-Elite Program
The Micro-Elite program is a competitive development program for boys and girls ages 6 through 10 (birth years 2011 to 2015). This is a minimal-to-no travel program focused on taking players through age-appropriate development of soccer skills, etiquette, fair play and team dynamics, designed to help further their love and understanding of the game as we prepare them for the transition to competitive travel soccer.
There will be emphasis on skills that will allow for valuable participation, understanding and contributions on a team at all positions, while at the same time bolstering the ability to enjoy playing soccer. Above all, our goal is to have fun and help players embrace the spirit of the game.

2021 Spring Session: Begins with a 4 week indoor training/pre-season training in February – typically one to two sessions per week. Outdoor practices begin in March, weather and field dependent, with 1 to 2 practice sessions each week. Games are played weekly in April through end of May, both in house and within the MYSA state league. While minimal, travel may be needed to games. Game schedules will be available in March. Game day teams will be formed based on the total number of registrations and players may be moved to different teams each week to provide different opportunities for play and learning.
Players will be coached by an experienced and licensed United States Youth Soccer Coach. Valley Elite F.C. and MYSA require our coaches to pass a background check, complete concussion awareness training provided by the CDC, obtain a minimum of a Grassroots certification (equivalent to an F Grade License) with US Soccer, and additional licensing as required based on the level of team and years of coaching. Valley Elite’s Technical Director is responsible for establishing and communicating the core curriculum for the program and administering necessary coach training.
Games will be officiated by US Soccer licensed/certified referees. Referees are paid for each game they officiate and Valley Elite F.C. will reimburse initial licensing and uniform expenses for newly licensed referees. Contact us at if you are interested in becoming a licensed referee.
